As a member of Rotary100 I have been fortunate to participate as a packer for Feed My Starving Children. I have been impressed with the organization, its mission and impact. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and then the meals are shipped to nearly 70 countries around the world.
Feed My Starving Children is a Christian 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. According to the organization, a single meal costs only 22 cents to produce, and 92 percent of total donations goes directly toward the food program. The organization can always use donations for the food and volunteers for packing. Check out their website for more information!
